model of the hole complex deutscher Text		Architectural Concept [ 1 ][ 2 ][ 3 ] With the conversion of the existing busshelter, a concrete structure, which is on the list of built austrian cultural heritage, the contained space within the complex is been interpreted as urban void space. Step by step it will be occupied by functional spaces according to specific masterplan in order to create urban event spaces in as well as in-between the buildings. Alike the sociological fabric of the city the gradual concentration of spatial networks creates realms of public, semi-public and private activities. Accordingly the circulation allows accessibility on multiple levels. Access, distribution- and workshopfunctions are facilitated on the groundfloor, whilst the main circulation walkway - a suspended steelstructure at the level of 4.50m - runs along the indoor buildings. The functional layering inside the functional spaces is structured vertically by the following functional typologies: - studios - offices - living units The joint use of different typologies is possible as well as the mere rent of storage space, housed in an annex to the main hall. Areas for a coffeeshop/restaurant, conference rooms or printstudios are potentially housed in the so-called roofwing on top of the annex. All the building inside the main space are piercing through the existing roof in order to provide sufficient ambient illumination of all working areas and constitute an iconic rooftop-skyline. Prefabricated infrastructural elements such as toilets, bathrooms, kitchens or main staircases as well as supply pipes are attached to the buildings on the outside in order to provide utmost spatial flexibility inside the structures. view from Vorgartenstraße   [ 1 ][ 2 ][ 3 ]
